Vacation of Armenian children from Georgia in “Aragats” camp PDF Print E-mail

A1For the fifth time in a row, with the support of RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development and blessings of the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, children from 9 to 13 years from different regions of Georgia spend their summer holidays in wonderful camp “Aragats”, in Havkavan, Kotayk Province of the Republic of Armenia.1 1
This year was not an exception. On June 19, 2018, after the Morning Prayer, receiving blessings of the spiritual fathers, youngsters left for the camp from Akhalkalaki, led by Secretary Armenuhi Petrosyan.
1 2On the same day, in the morning, under the guidance of Deacon Gevorg Antonyan, 20 youngsters depart for the camp from Tbilisi. 100 children from Georgia were joined by children from Yerevan and Gyumri at the “Aragats” camp. There were 6 groups arrived from different places in the camp. The campers spent their 20-day vacation in the comfortable and improved camp, embraced by forest in the village of Meghradzor.
The directorate and pedagogical staff of the “Aragats” camp did not spare effort and energy to organize interesting and unforgettable rest for the children. Every moment the children felt the attention, care and warm attitude of the whole staff and Andranik Babayan, Director of the 1 3camp. The games, competitions, trainings, hikes, songs and dances and bonfires organized by the directorate and pedagogues, made the unforgettable, exciting and interesting summer holidays for Armenian children from Georgia. These days became for them days of friendship, mutual care, national spirit and inspiration and patriotism.
In the lap of wonderful nature children gathered together from Akhalkalaki, Ninotsminda, Akhaltsikhe, Bolnisi, Marneuli 1 4and Tbilisi and became friends, played various intellectual and entertaining games, participated in competitions, were awarded with certificates and letters of appreciation for their activity and knowledge.
Soon, the 20-day vacation ended. Indeed, the farewell moment was sad. On July 9, Armenian children from Georgia returned to their home with a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation.
