EU Delegation Representative in Georgia was hosted at the Cathedral of Saint George in Tbilisi

On November 15, 2023, Mrs. Evija Kotan, Deputy Head of Political, Press, and Information Section at the EU Delegation to Georgia visited the Cathedral of Saint George of the Diocese of Armenian Apostolic Holy Church in Georgia. Mrs. Kotan was received by the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan.

During the conversation, Bishop Kirakos Davtyan presented the history of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia to the representative of the European Union, touched upon a number of programs of spiritual and church life, spoke about the activities that are implemented in the cultural, educational and youth departments of the Armenian Diocese, and also highlighted the activities carried out in the direction of public and civil integration and the plans for the future.

During the conversation, both sides agreed to continue meetings and dialogues, which will certainly be fruitful for all the parties.

The meeting took place in a warm friendly atmosphere. Head of Diocesan Initiatives Development Foundation Mari Mikoyan was present at the meeting.
