REVEREND FATHER ARMASH POGHOSYAN
Reverend Father Armash Poghosyan (baptismal name is Vahe) was born on November 18, 1981 in the city of Echmiadzin, Armenia.
From 1988 to 1999, Rev. Fr. Armash Poghosyan studied at secondary school № 12 in Etchmiadzin, Armenia.
From 1999 to 2000, Rev. Fr. Armash Poghosyan studied at the Theological Seminary of Gyumri, Armenia.
From 2000 to 2006, Rev. Fr. Poghosyan studied at the Gevorkian Theological Seminary of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
On February 23, 2006, he was ordained as a deacon by His Eminence Archbishop Nerses Pozapalyan.
From 2006, was appointed to serve at the Department of Economics of Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin as the Assistant of Economist.
On April 15, 2007, he was consecrated and ordained, as a secular (married) priest by His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Terteryan in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin.
On June 1, 2007, by the order of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, Rev. Fr. Armash Poghosyan was appointed to serve at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Holy Church in Georgia.
On June 1, 2007, by the order of His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakanyan, the Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Holy Church in Georgia, Rev. Fr. Armash Poghosyan was appointed to serve as the Pastor of St. Sargis Church, as well as the Spiritual Pastor of the Armenian communities of Samtskhe-Javakheti and Ninotsminda of the Samtskhe-Javakheti and Tsalka General Prelacy where he continues to serve until now.
Rev. Fr. Armash Poghosyan is married and has two sons and one daughter.
