"RAFAEL JAVAKH" EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL AND YOUTH CENTER
The "Rafael Javakh" Educational, Cultural, and Youth Center of the Samtskhe-Javakheti and Tsalka’s General Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia is located in Ninotsminda. It was founded in 2013 with the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch of All Armenians, and is named after the famous poet from Javakhk (Khojabek), Rafael Javakh (Rafael Gharslyan). The building of the Center was acquired through the philanthropy of the Armen and Tatul Gharslyan brothers.

✓ Armenian History Study Group
✓ History of the Armenian Church Study Group
✓ English Language Courses
✓ "Armath" Engineering Laboratory
✓ "Kayler" Rehabilitation Center
The spiritual superintendent of the Center is Rev. Father Armash Poghosyan, the pastor of Ninotsminda and surrounding villages. The activities of the Center are carried out through the coordinating council and staff of the Center. The Center's educational program is developed by the Education Department of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia and approved by the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia. At the end of the courses, exams, test papers, and final concerts are held. The Center has a 100-seat hall with the necessary technical equipment, as well as 4 classrooms. Alongside the educational program, the Center organizes educational, cultural, spiritual, cognitive, and physical activities, as well as pilgrimages.
The activities of the Center are covered by the Center's Information Department and are available on both the official website of the Diocese in Georgia and the Facebook pages of the Samtskhe-Javakheti and Tsalka’s General Prelacy, as well as the "Ninotsminda Pastoeate’s RJ Center."
The Center’s activities also include publishing work. Since its founding, a number of spiritual, fiction, and documentary books have been published under the "Rafael Javakh" series, as well as calendars.
