“Archbishop Komitas” Education, Culture and Spiritual Center in Ozurgeti
To address the spiritual needs of Armenians living in Guria and to emphasize the importance of preserving the native language, the “Archbishop Komitas” (Komitas Vardapet) Spiritual, Educational, and Cultural Center was established in Ozurgeti on April 1, 2019, which was made possible under the order and blessing of the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, the “Archbishop Komitas” (“Komitas Vardapet”) spiritual, educational and cultural center was established in the city of Ozurgeti, within the Pastorate of Adjara, Guria and Imereti of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia.
The “Saint Sahak Partev” Sunday school was included in the center.
It is planned to establish a dance group, a choir, and youth and women's associations.
