Armenian Diocese in Georgia joined Pan-Armenian Prayer
On November 10, 2024, following the call of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Armenian Diocese in Georgia joined the Pan-Armenian Prayer at the conclusion of the Sunday Divine Liturgy.
His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, explained the importance of protecting the rights of Artsakh Armenians, in particular, raising a collective prayer for the servicemen, civilians and representatives of the military and political leadership of the Republic of Artsakh kidnapped, held hostage by Azerbaijan and illegally detained in Baku on fabricated charges.
Pan-Armenian prayer is a call, an appeal to all humankind to release the Armenians who were imprisoned due to their ethnicity, and that call was joined by the Armenian faithful in Georgia under the leadership of the Diocesan Primate.
