Blessing of Water ceremony at churches of Armenian Diocese in Georgia

In accordance with the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church order, the Blessing of Water ceremony is being offered with the newly blessed Holy Muron at Dioceses.

On October 20, 2024, the Blessing of Water ceremony with the newly blessed Holy Muron was offered at the churches of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia: the Cathedral of Saint Gevorg in Tbilisi and Saint Etchmiadzin church in Avlabari, Tbilisi.

His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia celebrated Sunday Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of Saint Gevorg in Tbilisi.

During the Divine Liturgy, His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan preached about the mystery of Holy Muron, informing the faithful when and by whom the Holy Muron is applied and how the faithful should use the blessed water.

At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan blessed the newly blessed Holy Muron and distributed it to the faithful. At Saint Etchmiadzin church in Avlabari as well, the faithful took blessed water with them.
