Commemoration of St. Thomas the Apostle

The Cathedral in Tbilisi is one of those blessed temples where the relics of Saints are kept. Here is the right hand of St. Thomas the Apostle (called the Twin).

On August 29, 2020, on the Commemoration Day of St. Thomas, after the Mealtime Liturgy, under the presidency of Vicar of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, Rev. Father Archimandrite Kirakos Davtyan and with the participation of clergy, the right hand of St. Thomas was brought out to faithful. The right hand of St Thomas was placed in the church until the Evening Service. During the day, the faithful touched the sacred relic strengthening by its blessing power.
