Feast of Glorious Resurrection of Jesus Christ at Saint Gregory of Narek Center in Rustavi

On March 31, 2024, the Feast of the Glorious Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ was solemnly celebrated in Saint Gregory of Narek (Surb Grigor Narekatsi) Spiritual, Educational and Cultural Center of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia in Rustavi city, Kvemo Kartlii region.

Festive Divine Liturgy was celebrated by the Center’s pastor Rev. Father Hovsep Harutyunyan, accompanied by deacon Gevorg Avetisyan.

During the Divine Liturgy celebrated at the Vemkar (rock at the bottom of the Altar), the celebrant spoke about the mystery of the  Glorious Resurrection, the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness.

The celebration of the Feast of the Glorious Resurrection continued in the center with a festival of traditional Easter dishes and the egg-tapping game.
