Feast of St. Sarkis was celebrated with Divine Liturgies

The Feast of St. Sarkis the Captain was celebrated in churches of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia with Divine Liturgies, pilgrimages to the chapels named after the Saint, Blessing of young people service, folk traditions and distribution of salty cookies cooked by the students of youth centers.

On February 8th, 2020, festive mood was prevailed in the Cathedral of St. George, in Tbilisi. The faithful came to light a candle, pray, and take part in a festive Divine Liturgy celebrated by the Pastor of the church, Rev. Father Kirakos Simonyan. Divine Liturgy was celebrated and Evening Service was offered in the churches and chapels named after the Saint, as well as in the churches in Akhaltsikhe, Ninotsminda, Batumi, and Kvemo-Kartli region.
