Presents by “Samaritan’s Purse” Christian humanitarian aid organization to Armenian children of Tbilisi
On February 10, 2024, the Cathedral of Saint George in Tbilisi welcomed Armenian children living in Tbilisi with open arms. The children represented the Georgian-Armenian Public School N103 of Tbilisi (director: Archil Chkhaidze, teacher Hasmik Papikyan), the "Jeyran" dance ensemble (artistic director Svetlana Yeritsyan), "Ani" dance ensemble (director: Angelina Nazaryan-Kochyan) and the “Armenian community of Georgia” non-governmental organization (chairman: Artur Mirzoyan).
The meeting of The Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan with the teenagers, their teachers, parents and leaders of the organization took place. The Diocesan Primate offered his blessings to the attendees, spoke about the Christian faith, and highlighted the beautiful qualities of loving one's neighbor, helping each other and spreading kindness that each of them should have and develop in themselves.
His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan also touched upon the beautiful tradition of the “Samaritan’s Purse” Christian humanitarian aid organization of making their peers happy with Christmas gifts for years and urged those present to continue this beautiful tradition with the attention, respect and love shown to others.
The Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia handed over illustrated books about Christianity and Christmas gifts from “Samaritan’s Purse” Christian humanitarian aid organization to all the teenagers.
