DEACON ATANAS KIRAKOSYAN

Deacon Atanas Kirakosyan was born on August 14, 1987, in the city of Akhaltsikhe.

1994-2001 Studied and graduated from Hovhannes Tumanyan Armenian Public School No. 3 in Akhaltsikhe.

September 2001 Admitted to the Theological Seminary of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem.

2009 Graduated and received a certificate.

June 2009 Ordained as a deacon by His Grace Bishop Nurhan Manukyan.

2009-2012  Served as a deacon at Saint Georgy the Illuminator church of Samtskhe-Javakheti and Tsalka’s General Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia.

2012-2016 Served at the Cathedral of the Holy Mother of God in Jerusalem as a member of the Brotherhood.

From August 1, 2016 Serves as assistant to the pastor of the Armenian communities in Ninotsminda at Samtskhe-Javakheti and Tsalka’s General Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia.

Married, has one son.
