Churches of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia joined Nationwide Prayer Service
On October 3, 2020, bells of the Cathedral of Saint George rang and Armenians of Tbilisi, under the leadership of Vicar of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, Rev. Father Archimandrite Kirakos Davtyan the faithful joined the Nationwide Prayer Service offered in support of Artsakh and its patriotic defenders.
The faithful, with their eyes towards Almighty God, with great hope and belief in Victory prayed asking to protect and keep save Armenian Soldiers.
At the conclusion of the Prayer, Vicar of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia made a speech. Referring to the large-scale war which is going on along the border of Artsakh and Azerbaijan, Rev. Father mentioned in his speech that freedom-loving and freedom-desiring Armenian people is in a life-and-death struggle for freedom and defense of Homeland. Today is the crucial moment when like in Sardarabad and Bash Aparan we must once again with unshakable determination defend our land, the freedom of our country, the homeland of our ancestors, so that tomorrow we will remember our heroes who shed their blood and sacrificed themselves. This is the message coming from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and this is what the Motherland demands.
In the church of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, the faithful joined the Nationwide Prayer offered under the leadership of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.
