Feast of Glorious Resurrection of Jesus Christ at Saint George Cathedral of Armenian Diocese in Georgia

On April 20, 2025, the Christian world celebrated the Feast of the Glorious Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Cathedral of Saint George of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia was crowded. The festive day began with the morning service and the Blessing of the Four Corners of the Earth (Andastan).
On the occasion of the Glorious Resurrection of Jesus Christ, His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, celebrated Divine Liturgy.
During the Divine Liturgy, the celebrant, His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan, read the message of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, on the occasion of the Easter Feast.
After the Divine Liturgy, the Diocesan Primate congratulated the faithful on the occasion of the Holy Resurrection, the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, and blessed the Easter symbol - dyed eggs.
After the protective prayer, dyed eggs were placed on the festive table in the churchyard, and the egg-tapping game began, involving both the old and the young. The children were especially joyful.
On Monday, after the Holy Liturgy, a memorial service for the deceased will be held.
