Message of His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia on New Year and Christmas

Dear sisters and brothers,

In just a few hours, the year 2025 will dawn upon planet Earth and the world will begin its new chronicle. The past year, 2024, was marked by significant political, economic, and social events—moments of triumph as well as challenges and hardships.

In our spiritual life, 2024 stood out with the reopening ceremonies of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the blessing of the Holy Muron. These sacred and historic events became milestones for Armenians worldwide, uniting us around our House of Faith and inspiring us to live in the love of Christ.

It is our collective hope that in the new year, 2025, peace will reign in our two homelands—Armenia and Georgia—and throughout the world. May each passing year bring new successes and achievements.

Let 2025 be a year of strengthened faith, unity around the Church, deep patriotism, and unwavering love for our people. May it bring love, success, the fulfillment of aspirations, prosperity, and new victories to every family.

May the radiant light of the Christ Child illuminate and bless all your families.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia
