Minister Suren Papikyan visited Armenian organizations

On February 12th, 2020, within the framework of his two-day visit to Georgia, Suren Papikyan, RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Development visited the Cathedral of St. George in Tbilisi, despite his busy day full of meeting. Minister Papikyan was welcomed by Rev. Father Husik Harutyunyan and Deacon Giorgi Abramyan. Rev. Father Husik told to the Minister the story of the church building, as well as reconstruction works. The guests lit candles and prayed in the Cathedral, watched the frescos on the church walls.

The guests bowed to Sayat-Nova's tomb and the tombs of Armenian generals buried in the church yard.

Afterwards, Minister Papikyan with other guests who accompanied him visited ''House of Hovhannes Tumanyan'' Center for Science and Culture. The guests toured the historical house, listened to the tour guide Gohar Mazmanyan, and after that Minister wrote a note in the memorial book of the House of Hovhannes Tumanyan.

Suren Papikyan, RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Development visited the Pantheon of the Armenian Writers and Public Figures ''Khojivank'' and ''Gari Davtyan'' House of Culture within the framework of his visit to Georgia. RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Development got acquainted with the activities of Armenian community in Georgia, as well as abovementioned organizations.
