Pastoral visit to Armenian-populated villages in Marneuli region of Armenian Diocese in Georgia

On January 22, 2025, with the blessing of the Primate of His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, the spiritual servants of the Armenian Diocese Rev. Father Hovsep Harutyunyan and Deacon Gevorg Avetisyan, made a pastoral visit to the Holy Virgin Chapel (Surb Astvatsatsin) in the village of Aghkyorpi, Marneuli region, Kvemo Kartli region, the Holy Virgin Church in Shahumyan settlement, and the Holy Evangelists (Srbots Avetaranchats) Chapel in the village of Karmir (Tsiteli).

After praying in these churches, the visiting clergy of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia conveyed the good news of the Nativity of Jesus Christ to the local residents and offered the Water Blessing Service.

Local residents joyfully participated in the ceremony, lit candles and took the blessed water home.
