Primate of Dmanis and Agarak-Tashir Diocese of Georgian Orthodox Church Received the Primate of the Armenian Diocese at His Residence
On January 17, 2024, His Grace Archbishop Zeno Iarajuli, Primate of Dmanis and Agarak-Tashir and Great Britain and Ireland Diocese of Georgian Orthodox Church hosted His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia at his episcopal residence. His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan was accompanied by deacon Gevorg Avetisyan.
The clergymen talked about the great journey and hardships shared by Georgians and Armenians during the centuries-long history and also touched upon the issues that these two ancient nations are currently encountering. The primates of the two dioceses discussed issues related to the Georgian-Armenian cultural heritage in Georgia and Armenia in the spirit of brotherhood.
The meeting of Archbishop Zenon Iarajuli and Bishop Kirakos Davtyan took place in an atmosphere of warm friendship and mutual understanding.
