The Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic in Georgia
On November 2, 2023, at the the Diocesan Headquarters, the Cathedral of Saint George in Tbilisi, Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Georgia, H.E. Petr Kubernát.
The Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia introduced the centuries-old Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church operating in Georgia, which is the central power of the consolidation of Armenians around the Church and the Christian faith, told about the active and maintained Armenian churches in the country, highlighted the cultural, educational and youth activities that are being implemented together in capital Tbilisi and in other regions of Georgia. His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan touched upon the collaboration of the Armenian Diocese with other religious denominations.
The Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Georgia spoke about the Czech Republic, the country's spiritual life and the local Armenian community. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary H.E. Petr Kubernát wished the Diocesan Primate new achievements in leading the Armenian Diocese in Georgia.
The meeting took place in a warm, friendly atmosphere with mutual expectations and willingness to participate in various projects.
Arnold Stepanyan, Chairman of Multinational Georgia NGO, and Mari Mikoyants, executive director of the organization, were present at the meeting.
